Getting Started - Before you do you need to get your code from Mr. Peinert

1. Below is the link to provide you access the Choose to Code tutorials:

Please be advised that all of you are to choose the track (Beginner) not (Experienced) based on our beginning experience, computer capabilities and time investment.

All of you already have a Microsoft account it is your City Schools e-mail log-in in order to sign in and complete the Choose to Code tutorials.

So you will not have to complete a new one, but you can also use your other accounts as well that are listed below.
  • You may already have a Microsoft account—used to sign in to Xbox Live, Outlook.com, or OneDrive—they can use their existing account.
You will be given your Azure Pass Code from Mr. Peinert. Each of the codes is unique codes each student will use to complete Choose to Code. 
  • What is Microsoft Azure? Microsoft Azure is a service that will allow you to host their completed website in the cloud.
  • What is the cloud? The cloud refers to services that run on the Internet rather than on your computer, making them accessible from any Internet-connected computer. Netflix, Instagram, and Outlook.com are examples of popular services running in the cloud.
 
Don’t worry, the tutorials will guide you through the entire process. Remember, you can always reference the Quick Start Guide and Frequently Asked Questions at any time.

When you are Finished 

Once you have completed all tutorials in your chosen track and have your completed website, you will need to e-mail Mr. Peinert with the final website URL. For example: http://joesdemosite.azurewebsites.net
Once you have done this You are all done!
You will then be given 40 extra credit points added to your grade.
